Vanuatu is a heavenly place, with 82 islands strung along a corner of the South Pacific and a hospitable and fascinating people. Peace Corps Volunteers have been invited to serve the Ni-Vanuatu since the early 1990s as teachers, community organizers, health educators and rural youth trainers.
Yumi Stap Storian is a website for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) to share stories about our service in Vanuatu. This is where we’ll storian – Bislama for conversation – about the friends we made, the work we did, the traditional ceremonies we witnessed and the kava we imbibed.
All Vanuatu RPCVs are welcome to contribute to this site. Here are the ways you can storian:
